Airbus A380 – start now in the Mega-Liner's Cockpit!
To fly the giant Airbus A380, being the pilot in a perfect simulation at Lufthansa Flight Training - this is certainly a very extraordinary experience. Since the first flight of the A380 in April 2005, we've been looking forward to taking off in the sim cockpit of the Superjumbo baptized 'mega-liner' by Airbus.
In November 2009, the first A380 simulator actually arrived at Lufthansa Flight Training Center (LFTC). The video (2:12, German language) shows the installation of the new technology highlight in the simulator hall in Frankfurt:
